About Us

Rolling Unit is the brand of MDSC Systems OÜ, offering lightweight wheeled mobile shelter solutions.

MDSC Systems, part of the Maru AS group, is known for its heavy-duty military and rescue expandable containers. In 2015, we had developed a lightweight trailer version of our military expandable shelter and were exploring potential use cases. The following year, while the Estonian Cancer Fighting Association was seeking a cost-effective mobile cancer screening unit, we realized our design could meet their needs. Traditional heavy medical trucks were too expensive for a small nonprofit, prompting us to offer an innovative solution. Working closely with the association, we adapted our design to create the Rolling Unit – a more affordable, lightweight, and easier-to-use version of our military container system. Thanks to generous donations and the efficiency of this design, they were able to source two screening units instead of just one.
